Made from a single layer of corrugated fluting, single wall cardboard boxes are perfect for packing, storing and shipping light to medium weight objects. Supplied flat-packed and in multiple pack sizes, which makes shipping and storage more convenient. Made from a high percentage of recycled material, our single wall cartons are eco-conscious and can be fully recycled after use.
Available in a range of sizes, with different combinations of inner and outer liners and grammages.
Cartons are measured using their internal dimensions in millimetres: length x width x height. It’s important to know if the carton will be machine or hand erected. If the carton is machine erected the tolerances are tighter and the carton might need to be die-cut.
The corrugated fluting is essential to the characteristic of the board supplying the rigidity that gives strength with minimal weight and density, and makes the product economical. A flute is designed by height (thickness) and density (number per linear metre). Flute selection is determined by needs. A fragile decorations shipper would choose C flute for its stacking strength and cushioning qualities. Whereas a canned beverage filler would choose B flute for its end to end compression attributes; and a point of display designer would choose E flute for it’s superior–printing surface.
